Frequently asked questions

How do I create a Google Drive folder structure automatically?

Pick a template, adjust the folders to fit you, then click "Create these folders in my Google Drive." Tuck builds the whole structure in your Drive in one click, with no manual folder-making.

Is this Google Drive folder structure generator free?

Yes, completely free. Copy it, download it, or have it created in your Drive at no cost. Tuck only charges if you later want new documents auto-filed into the folders for you.

Will it touch my existing Google Drive files?

No. It only creates folders, inside a single top-level Tuck folder, using Google’s drive.file scope. That means it can only see and touch files it created. It cannot read the rest of your Drive.

What is the best Google Drive folder structure?

Two levels deep, with broad categories you can choose between instantly. These templates use the same categories Tuck files documents into, so the structure stays clean and unambiguous.

Can Tuck keep these folders organized automatically?

Yes. Once the folders exist, Tuck reads each new document you add and files it into the right one automatically, so the structure stays maintained without you sorting anything.
